Miss Celeste - In progress
So today I drew Celeste here to use for my banners on my website and blog. Eventually she will be walking among some flowers, but right now I am simply proud of her actually looking like a functional person. I've been having a drawing block when it comes to poses lately, but hopefully this is a sign that I'm getting over it. She was drawn and colored completely in Photoshop.
Her outfit was also really fun to make up! I love all the billowy tails. I kind of want to make it in real life, but I'll save that project for another day.

I have returned with a doodle!
So I sorta fell off of the art train for a while since school has been out, but I am back with a game plan to own the rest of the summer with art!!! So it begins with daily doodles!
This is my favorite of today, and for the most part I am going to use these doodles to improve my ability to draw the characters from the two stories I am working on.
This one is Arielle, the protagonist from Lucid.
Just another little update of the projects I am working on that I'll be posting on here beyond the doodling!
There will be costuming, both for myself, for friends, and to sell. I will also be experimenting with portraits drawn on wood to sell, and I will be re-branding myself! Weee!

CMYK (Screenprinting Project #2) | detail
For this screen printing assignment, we needed to incorporate a photo
into our picture, and the line work I drew with a tablet in Photoshop. I chose one of the pictures from my house after the
big storm that took out most of our trees, and I wanted to incorporate
the empty space around the image, rather than just keeping it a static
square. The imagery for me represents my childhood mourning the tragic
loss of all the trees where I grew up.

Warmth (Screenprint Project #1) | It is actually printed!
My screenprint for class is finally complete! Here is my illustration completed, changed from a mere Photoshop drawing to my first screenprinted piece!
(I'll post a better picture once I can get into school to scan it!)

Warmth (Screenprint Project #1)
Screenpring project #1! This is the design for it, which I painted digitally in Photoshop. The theme is "magic", so I wanted to focused on energy as well as some symbolic forms of magic. I incorporated runes and a pendulum physically in the piece, and chose the light pink color to represent Rose Quartz as I feel like nature has a magical energy as well.
